Is there a way to copy midi presets to all the others to match?

I wish some reviews would play soft...way too hard hitting all the time...

I still don’t understand why blending or layering is necessary. Why not just replace the module sound with the VST?

This hardware paired with a good dialed Strata module could be really a killer drum

This pos is way over priced for trash hats and limited outs no way in hell I'd spend this much coin with what's available in today's market I'm not a fan of the roland sounds but the td27 is miles beyond this kit especially if you are playing it at home for practice because you can change the shity roland sounds with superior drummer but have way better didgital hats ride and snare

This is why for me triggering is the most important. It will affect your playing. Which brand do you think has the best triggering?

As someone who moved to the Strike Pro from a Yamaha brain (I still use the Yamaha pads) in a live environment, it's amazing. The sounds are compressed and they sound fuller live. I did notice a lot of double triggering though in the last gig which is a real problem.

with a td-50x, audio interface, ezdrummer3, I would like to increment user kits via a midi footswitch while playing dynamically. the td-50x has a footswitch port. Do you know how this can be done?

What is the acoustic drum sound like?

Great video! I was wondering why I shouldn’t use the felt end of the beater. I’ve heard it before but it was never explained. As for amp, I’m very happy with my Simmons DA2108. Only 8” but the bass gets quite low and it has BT, which my edrum doesn’t have. It also has an out headphone jack so I can now BT music and play along over the speaker OR via the headphones. Sound quality wise it is quite good. And I am picky about sound quality. I tried a Chinese Amazon special “drum” amp that had good reviews and as this fellow mentioned they sound quite terrible. Like very terrible.

Hi man! Thanks for ur videos, they are all really helpful! What would you suggest me as beginner on drums to buy along with a td 17kvx2 as double kick, hi hat stand and throne? For kicks and hat stand I'd say my budget is around 300€ and 150€, for the throne I really don't know a price range, but I'd like to get something decent that lasts but that won't cost me a lot. I mainly plan on learning metal and rock, but some jazz maybe in the future. What would you recommend?

If I buy multiple kits can I mix the cymbal and tom sounds into other kits?

If I could ask you one more question, I am basically in the boat of fixing to buy my first E drum kit. I can’t play acoustic anymore. If money is not an object what kit would you go with? If you want the best sounds out of the box with the module, but you want the best reliability and quality, I’m sold on the Roland vad 706 for quality but I keep hearing the sounds are not so great out of the module and I know it has some machine gunning on fast rolls What kit would you put together your self if you were wanting the best one out of the box with the highest reliability/quality. Efnote Drumtech Pearl mimic. Etc?????Thank you

Hi Luke, I'm looking to upgrade from the TD-07 to the TD-17 sound module. Do you know if the transient manipulation feature was introduced in version 2.0? Thanks for the review. It's amazing how little to none tunning this brands makes, it seems that the issues are just lack of dialing in it properly before launch, they count on the users to make adjustments. On the other hand, the sounds are just A MA ZING.

just got this kit and when i hit my snare and kick drum together the kick drum sound doesn’t come through

This video saved my snare. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! DrumTec was out of this part for maybe 6 months or so. Last week, I spotted it being back in stock and they promptly shipped it to the USA and everything is triggering correctly now.

I'm really looking forward to using your kits with my td27kv2 that arrives this week! Is it possible to create custom user kits with the sounds provided in your kit? As in select an individual instrument sound from one of your kits? For example mix and match with your different kits and the stock ones?

Please Help I’m thinking of switching to an E kit exclusively because I cannot hear my acoustic drums through my in ears and Mics without turning the volume of the music up too loud and further damaging my hearing the bleed is too much even with custom in ear monitors and gunshot headphones over that When I’m just practicing I like to just sit behind the kit with no hearing protection any hearing protection I’ve ever used makes the drum sound crappy so I just play cold turkey. I can’t do this anymore my tinnitus is really bad. I’ve done that through my whole childhood. I’m 44 now I played on the Alesis strata prime at guitar Center, but I could only play on it a little bit with no songs to play along too just drums From what little I played on it I very much liked it Is it safe to assume that if I got an kit with headphones on playing music through with drum-less tracks that I would be able to hear much better and have better clarity and a better experience than my current set up with Drum and Mics what would be the difference between the two in clarity balance of sound with playing along to songs with in ears or headphones in your experience? Also can you make the rims on the Alesis Strata Prime sound like efx cymbals splash/china etc or can they only be made to sound like rim?crossstick clicks THANK YOU to anyone for responding I appreciate it.

The PA sounds a bit muddy

Is there another e drum kit around this price that you'd recommend over this kit right now? I'm an average skill play-at-home only drummer who just wants a decent looking and tight functioning kit to play along to my music on Spotify. I do want to get double bass with my upgrade (my current e kit doesn't support it, too small of a base pad). I didn't see you doing that here, but I have seen others using a double bass on this kit.

I upgraded my kit from a Roland KV11 to Drum-tec shells. No regrets. I noticed the issue with the bass drum pedal; Drum-tec's 18" x8" bass came with a rubber piece w/adhesive to allow for perfect bass drum attachment. I have older Alesis cymbals and these seem to a great improvement. I must say that the shell wrap is really nice on your kit; it's a shame that the plastic on th evottom of the shells is so darn thick.
